1. Who we are

HoleInWhen.com ("HoleInWhen," "we," "us") is a hobbyist notification service that watches publicly available golf tee-time availability and alerts you when a spot opens at a course you follow. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or partnered with any golf course, booking platform, or airline. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.

2. What the service does (and doesn't) do

We monitor course availability and send you a text message when a matching tee time appears.
We do not book, hold, reserve, or guarantee any tee time. You book directly with the course, and availability can disappear at any moment.
Alerts are provided on a best-effort basis. We do not guarantee delivery, timing, accuracy, or that any alert will result in a booking.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate information and keep your login secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction. We may suspend or remove accounts that abuse the service or violate these terms.

4. Text messages & consent

By adding your mobile number and creating an alert, you consent to receive automated SMS text messages from HoleInWhen about tee-time availability. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for help. Consent to texts is not a condition of any purchase. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

5. Acceptable use

Don't use the service to break the law, infringe others' rights, overload or scrape third-party systems, resell alerts, or interfere with the service's operation. We watch only publicly available data and expect you to book through official channels.

6. Third-party services

Booking happens on third-party sites, and we rely on providers such as SMS and email vendors. Their terms and availability are outside our control, and we are not responsible for their content, pricing, or actions.

7. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, HoleInWhen and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost tee times, bookings, profits, or data, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months or US$20.

9. Changes & termination

We may modify or discontinue the service, or update these terms, at any time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above. You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time; continued use after changes means you accept them.
